Leaks Can Run, But They Can’t Hide!

Conserve. Save. Repeat.

As we welcome a new year, Broward County encourages residents to embrace a simple goal: use water more efficiently throughout 2026. Together, our mindful actions strengthen our community’s resilience and sustainability.

One of the simplest ways to begin is by taking the “I’m for Water” pledge. By signing up, you’re joining an expanding network of people committed to responsible water use. Every time you fix a minor leak, turn off the tap, or opt for a WaterSense-certified product, you’re not only conserving water but also supporting your home, your neighborhood, and Broward’s future sustainability. Click here to take the pledge!

The WaterSense Resolution Checklist is your monthly guide to maintaining water-saving habits, and ensuring conservation remains consistent and manageable.

Here are some examples from the checklist to get started:

• January: Check for leaks and start the year drip-free.

• May: Inspect your sprinkler system before the rainy season begins.

• June: Prep your pool to stay efficient during the hottest months.

• November: Adjust your irrigation system to prepare for cooler temperatures, and Florida’s dry season. Download the I’m For Water Pledge today!
