Dania Beach Urges Residents to Conserve Water
Take Advantage of Rebates and Free Water-Conserving Devices.
The City of Dania Beach has joined 17 other local governments and water utilities to become a member of the Broward Water Partnership Water Conservation and Incentives Program. This Program, which kicked off Sept. 30, offers qualifying customers rebates for high-efficiency toilets, free faucet aerators and showerheads. And, free pre-rinse spray valves are available for our business owners.
I strongly encourage our water customers to act quickly to participate in this program. By doing so, you will help put an end to careless water consumption by taking steps towards a more conservative future. Our community is taking part by offering rebates and free water-conserving devices that will save YOU money.

Spread the word to your neighbors and friends because every step to save water may save you money, and ultimately, help to save the environment. Act quickly, because like our water supplies, there are only a limited number of rebates and free devices available.

Our Program
The City of Dania Beach obviously can’t control the weather but we can provide ways to maximize our water supplies during dry and drought conditions and that’s by making water conservation a priority. And, we think offering rebates and free water-conserving devices will encourage you to make water conservation a priority too. Funding and supplies are limited so don’t delay. Read below to find out more details about how you can save water and money.
Rebates
Qualifying participants are encouraged to replace their current toilet(s) that use(s) more than 1.6 gallons of water per flush with WaterSense® certified High-Efficiency Toilets (HET). Rebates are provided for up $100 each, or the cost of the HET, whichever is less.
Single-family, townhouse and condo applicants may receive up to two (2) rebates per qualifying water accountholder and must own and reside in the home at which they are replacing the toilet(s).
Property owners, and property managers who are authorized by property owners, of multi-family housing units, not-for-profit agencies, commercial buildings and institutional facilities may receive up to five (5) rebates or may submit a request to receive more.
