Kevin Keogh - Coral Springs Utility Coordinator
The City of Coral Springs is one of the most desirable places to live in South Florida, and it takes the judicious use of water to keep it that way. So on Sept. 30, as a member of the Broward Water Partnership, we joined 17 other local governments and water utilities as we kicked off a water conservation program offering rebates and incentives to encourage everyone to conserve water.
By participating in this program, you help bring awareness to the amount of water we use and give our best efforts to conserve every last drop. The more conservative we are, the more the environment benefits, and the more money YOU may save. The idea is simple: save water, save money, save the environment.
I encourage you to participate by taking advantage of the rebates and other water conservation devices while helping to spread the word throughout our community about this program! You or I can make a change, but together we can make a difference.
Please read more about our program below.
Our Program
The City of Coral Springs has always supported water conservation and now we are making it even easier for you to do so by providing toilet rebates and other incentives. Funding and supplies are limited so don’t delay. Read below to find out more details about how you can save water and money.
Rebates
Qualifying participants are encouraged to replace their current toilet(s) that use(s) more than 1.6 gallons of water per flush with WaterSense® certified High-Efficiency Toilets (HET). Rebates are provided for up $100 each, or the cost of the HET, whichever is less.
Single-family, townhouse and condo applicants may receive up to two (2) rebates per qualifying water accountholder and must own and reside in the home at which they are replacing the toilet(s).
Property owners, and property managers who are authorized by property owners, of multi-family housing units, not-for-profit agencies, commercial buildings and institutional facilities may receive up to five (5) rebates or may submit a request to receive more.
All applicants must be pre-approved before toilet may be purchased and other restrictions apply. Click the button below to learn more about qualifying for a rebate and to apply today!
